The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of the Respondent-Authorities in sanctioning the differential amount of Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) (both employer and employee), by taking into consideration the daily wages period from 22.02.1986 to 13.11.1995 (i.e., 09 years 08 months 22 days), on par with other employees who had retired and were already released their CPF amount, including the daily wage period, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner was an employee of Andhra Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (APSCSCL/Respondent No.7) and was appointed with effect from 22.06.1986 as Assistant (Grade-III) at Nidavolu MLS, and he continued in service up-to his retirement on 30.10.2020. The Petitioner is having Employees Provident Fund (EPF) account bearing No.1246 and contributed to the Provident Fund on his actual salary (higher wages), as per the terms of Para No.26 (6) of the Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952. 3. It was submitted that the Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) of the Petitioner was not deducted from the monthly wages of the Petitioner as per the rules of CPF, and the joint declaration on higher 5 wages was uploaded in the CPFO online portal by Respondent No.7. However, it did not show the details of recovery of CPF (both employer and employee), i.e., for the period from 22.02.1986 to 13.11.1995, in the joint declaration. 4. In that context, the Petitioner submitted a representation, dated 29.12.2025 explaining the above issue to the Respondent-Authorities and as the same is not being considered, the Writ Petition came to be filed. 5. Learned counsel for the Respondents submitted that the representation given by the Petitioner would be examined and an appropriate decision would be communicated to him. 6. Heard the counsels. 7. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions:- (i) The Respondent-Authorities are directed to examine the representation, dated 29.12.2025 given by the Petitioner and to dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6 8. No order as to costs. 9.
