In the present petition, the challenge is to the order dated 27.03.2026 (Annexure P-12) passed by respondent No.2, whereby, respondents No.5 and 6 have been declared as Chairman of Block Samiti, Malerkotla. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners very fairly submits that the said issue with regard to challenge to the election for the posts of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti, this Court has already passed an order in CWP- 8557-2026 ‘Roop Singh and others Versus State of Punjab and others, decided on 07.04.2026’, which judgment has also been upheld by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Hence, the present petition may also be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to raise appropriate remedy for the redressal of the grievances. 3. Ordered accordingly.
