It is an admitted position that no electricity connection has been granted till date to the private respondent. Admittedly, the petitioner and the private respondent are co-sharers and there are pending civil disputes insofar as their undivided properties are concerned. In view of the nature of disputes and the allegations raised by and between the petitioner and the private respondent, WPA 28871 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the concerned District 2 Magistrate, Purba Medinipur to consider the grievance of the petitioner and to find an amicable solution insofar as the disputes are concerned. It is made clear that the above exercise should be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order to the District Magistrate and after hearing both the petitioner and the private respondent as also the WBSEDCL. It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits and all questions are left open to be decided in accordance with law. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.)
