Pursuant to the order dated 02.04.2026, it is submitted on behalf of the CESC Limited that the outstanding dues in respect of the subject premises is approximately Rs. 15,385/-. Mr. Halder appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he is ready to make the payment of the above amount in two equal installments i.e. on 23.04.2026 and the second installment on 13.05.2026 respectively. It is also submitted on behalf of the CESC Limited if that the above amounts are paid, there is no impediment in granting an electricity connection to the petitioner subject to compliance with all formalities. In view of the above, WPA 5391 of 2026 stands disposed of.
2 Upon compliance with all formalities including payment of the amounts stated in the letter of offer, the CESC Limited shall grant a fresh electricity connection to the petitioner. It is also clarified that upon payment of the first installment the CESC Limited shall re-connect the electricity connection (subject to payment of requisite re-connection charges).
