As the subject-matter of the case relates to provisions of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 along with other relevant provisions, an appeal would lie under Section 14A(2) of the Special Act. As such, the application for bail being CRM (R) 26 of 2026 is dismissed as not pressed. Petitioner would be at liberty to prefer an appeal in respect of the same order which was the subject-matter of challenge.
