The petitioner represented by Ms. Anju Seervi, Senior Executive Officer of The Birla Institute of Scientific Research, submits that the demand challenged before this Court vide order dated 03.01.2001 has been met out and the total amount of Rs.64,41,870.50/- has been deposited for the period in question, namely; 1997-1998 to 2000-2001. It is submitted that for the claim relating to exemption, the department has not granted the exemption and therefore premium for subsequent years amount has been deposited. 3. It is also stated that, for a certain period, amount is still required to be deposited, which the petitioner will deposit. If there is any amnesty scheme, the same may be made applicable. 4. We have considered the submissions. 5. The issue raised before this Court was only with respect to that particular period, for which the petitioner having deposited the amount, thus, the writ petition has become infructuous. 6.
