JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer: "(a) To DIRECT the Hon'ble JMFC (TC-III) at Bengaluru to dispose/conclude the proceedings in Crl.Mis.No.106/2022 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act in time bound manner or expeditiously as early as possible at any rate within a period of 01 month vide at ANNEXURE-D, to meet the cannon of justice. (b) To issue any other Order or direction that, this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case, with costs, to meet the cannon of justice." 2. Heard Sri. Ashok Babu, learned counsel for Smt. Usha M.V., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and have perused the material on record. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would restrict her submission for a speedy disposal of the proceedings before the concerned Court. This Court in plethora of cases has clearly held that the proceedings under the Protection of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13257 CRL.P No. 2607 of 2026 Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 should conclude as expeditiously as possible at any rate within six (6) months from the date of its inception. 4. The matter is languishing before the concerned court for the last 4 years. In that light, the concerned Court shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings within an outer limit of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not earlier.
