Also heard Ms. S Chang, learned counsel representing the respondent nos. 1 to 6. This is an application filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a direction to consider the representation dated 15.06.2026 filed by the petitioner before the Director, Directorate of Rural Development Department, Nagaland, Kohima. The petitioner filed a representation praying for appointment on land ownership basis against the vacancy to be created after retirement of one Shri Lanunungsang, Multi Tasking Staff, who is a Grade –IV employee under the RD Block, Changtongya. The said application is still pending for consideration. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the sides. The respondent no. 4, the Director, Directorate of Rural Development Department, Nagaland, Kohima is directed to consider the representation dated 15.06.2026 filed by the petitioner Shri Watinungsang within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of receiving of this order.
