The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant to grant the gratuity and other retiral benefits of the husband of present petitioner namely Jagdish Chand @ Jagdish Chander (LM Retd.), since deceased, by considering the date of appointment as 01.01.1987 instead of 23.10.1992. Further praying for directing the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 12.03.2026 (Annexure P-3) by passing a speaking order.
