Mr. Anupam Dasadhikary, Mr. Samrat Nandy. ..for the State. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. There was an altercation that took place between groups of children, which resulted in a fight between their parents. Injuries were suffered on both sides. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statements of the victims and other witnesses, as well as to the injury report, which shows a depressed comminuted fracture of the frontal bone and the roof of orbit of one of the victims. It appears that the female accused have already been granted anticipatory bail. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary including the injury report, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the present petitioners. 2 The application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is, thus, rejected.
