Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 5. 3. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 28.09.2023 to the respondents seeking issuance of separate patta in favour of the petitioner pertaining to the properties referred to above. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent/Tahsildar to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 28.09.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.690 of 2024 date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry.
