The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody in connection with Sector VI (Bokaro) P.S. Case No. 36 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 69 / 115(1)/ 108 / 351(2)/ 351(3)/ 3(5) of the BNS, 2023, has prayed for regular bail. As per the prosecution case, the prosecutrix is aged about 22 years was in physical relationship with the petitioner for the last four months. He had promised to marry, but resiled from the same. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that offence under Section 69 of BNS, 2023 is not made out as from the very averment made in the FIR it will be apparent that the physical relationship preceded the alleged promise of marriage. Petitioner is a student of B.Tech. and his long incarceration will affect his career prospect. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the nature of allegation, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
