BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 15.07.2026 Heard Mr. A.A.R Karim, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. M. Bhuyan, learned Standing Counsel, Health Department. The petitioner before this Court is aggrieved that the NOC for establishment of the institute for training of General Nursing Midwifery and Auxiliary Nursing cum Midwifery applied for before the Director, Medical Education dated 14.12.2022 has not been granted. It is submitted that inspite of several communications, the NOC required to be issued to the petitioner has not been granted. The learned Standing Counsel, Health Department submits that further time be granted to obtain the required instructions in the matter. The learned counsel for the petitioner on the other hand submits that since the
Page No.# 3/3 last four years the matter is pending, he may be permitted to file a fresh representation before the Director, Medical Education seeking an NOC for establishment of the institution by enclosing all relevant documents. If such a representation is filed then the appropriate authorities will consider the same and pass necessary order thereon either granting NOC or rejecting the claim within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of such representation.
With the above observation without any finding of the merit of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
