On last occasion, this Court directed the Managing Director, JVVNL to remain personally present before this Court to apprise this Court about the outcome of the application submitted by the Investigating Agency, seeking permission to prosecute the petitioner-Rajesh Kumar Verma. 2. Mr.Sandeep Singh Shekhawat, Adv. has put appearance on behalf of the JVVNL and he submits that the Chairman-cum- Managing Director, JVVNL could not appear before this Court on account of some urgent meeting pertaining to Pre-Tender Stakeholder Summit Meeting, which is scheduled to be held on 07.07.2026. The Secretary, JVVNL, Mr.Mahesh Chand Sharma is present in-person and he submits that after following the due process, sanction to prosecute the petitioner-Rajesh Kumar Verma has already been issued vide order dated 04.07.2026, hence, the personal appearance of the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, JVVNL be exempted. 3. Application No.1/2026 stands allowed for the reasons stated therein. 4. Since both the bail applications are arising out of the same impugned FIR, hence, the same are being decided by this common order. (3 of 4) [CRLMB-2897/2026] 5. Both the bail applications have been filed under Section 483 BNSS by the petitioners in connection with the FIR No.25/2026, registered at the Police Station C.P.S., Jaipur, ACB District for the offences punishable under Sections 7 & 12 of the Prevention of Corruption of Act and Section 61(2) of the BNS. 6. Learned counsels for the petitioners submit that no recovery has been effected at the instance of the petitioner-Rajesh Kumar Verma and a sum of Rs.1,20,000/- along-with fake currency amounting to Rs.55,000/- has been recovered at the instance of the petitioner-Narendra Singh. Counsel further submits that after investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted and the petitioners are in custody since 28.01.2026 and trial will take its own time to conclude, therefore, indulgence of bail be granted to both the petitioners. 7. Per contra, learned Public Prosecutor opposed the prayer made by counsels for the petitioners and submitted that sanction to prosecute the petitioner-Rajesh Kumar Verma has been issued by the competent Authority vide order dated 04.07.2026. He submits that looking to the act of accepting bribe and the amount of bribe, the petitioners do not deserve any indulgence of bail. 8. Heard and considered the submissions made at the Bar and perused the material available on the record. 9. Considering the arguments put forward by the learned counsels for the petitioners and looking to the fact that the petitioners are in custody since January, 2026 and after investigation charge-sheet has been submitted and trial will take its own time to conclude, hence, without expressing any opinion (4 of 4) [CRLMB-2897/2026] on the merits and demerits of the case, this Court deems it just and appropriate to grant indulgence of bail to the petitioners under Section 483 BNSS. 10. Accordingly, both the instant bail applications under Section 483 BNSS are allowed and it is ordered that accused-petitioners Narendra Singh S/o Karan Singh and Rajesh Kumar Verma S/o Bhanwar Lal Verma, arrested in connection with the aforementioned FIR, may be released on bail; provided each of them furnishes a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- with two surety bonds of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court with the stipulation to appear before that Court on all dates of hearing and as and when called upon to do so.
