No. 16 dated 17.05.2016 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Articles 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently, COMMAND the respondents to disburse financial assistance of Rs. 10,00,000/- under the scheme of VIDESHI VIDYA DEEVENA to the petitioner as per the sanction proceedings in Rc. Chejarla Venkateswara rao SC For A.P.Kapu welfare and developement Corp.LTD The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE HARINATH.N W.P.No.24005 of 2026 O R DE R: The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of respondents in not releasing financial assistance of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only), sanctioned to the Petitioner (Application I.D. No.OV2017112211) under ‘Videshi Vidya Deevana’ scheme, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner had applied for financial assistance under ‘Videshi Vidya Deevana’ scheme and was sanctioned on 02.11.2017 and the same was allotted with Application I.D. No. OV2017112211. After due verification, Respondent No.4 sanctioned Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) in favour of the Petitioner for pursuing Master’s Degree in Global Economy and Business Class of Laura Degree in Economics at University of Cassino and Southern Lazio at Italy. Though, the Petitioner had completed his Course, the financial assistance as promised to the Petitioner was not disbursed to her. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.4/Corporation submits that the application of the Petitioner 4 would be considered and amounts would be sanctioned, if the Petitioner is within the conditions specified, for release of the amounts. 4. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions:- (i) The Respondents are directed to examine the claim of the Petitioner within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (ii) In the event, the claim of the Petitioner is held to be in order, the Respondents are directed to release the amounts to the Petitioner within a further period of eight (08) weeks. (iii) There shall be no order as to costs.
