This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 256 days in filing the Arbitration Appeal as against the order dated 29.10.2024 in Arbitration O.P. No.163/2010 on the file of Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur.
2. The petitioner is a third party to the arbitration proceedings.
3. The learned counsel for the 4th respondent submitted that though the copy of the order was obtained by the petitioner after the limitation period, no reason was given as to why the delay in filing the appeal even after obtaining the copy of the order. 2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. A perusal of the record shows that the petitioner is not a party to the proceedings. After obtaining the order copy, there are formalities to file appeal. Therefore, the technicalities need not be gone into and in order to meet the substantial justice, the delay is condoned.
