By way of present petitions, the petitioners seek quashing of two FIRs, i.e. FIR No. 410/2023 dated 13.03.2023, registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar West, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 323/341/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘IPC’)and FIR No. 425/2023 dated 17.03.2023, registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar West, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 323/452/506/34 of the IPC and subsequent proceedings arising This is a digitally signed order. Briefly stated, the allegations in the aforementioned FIRs arise out of misunderstandings and disputes between the parties, who are engaged in the business of real estate and property dealing in the vicinity of Paschim Vihar and have known each other for a long time. Subsequently, cross-FIRs were registered on the respective complaints of the parties under the relevant sections. However, it is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter out of court vide Settlement Agreement dated 11.04.2026. 3. Learned Counsel for the parties submits that the FIR was registered owing to certain misunderstandings between the parties and that the parties have now amicably settled their disputes. Nothing remains to be paid by either party to the other, and they do not wish to pursue the present litigation any further. 4. Both the parties have been duly identified by the concerned Investigating Officer. 5. Accordingly, FIR No. 410/2023, registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar West, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 323/341/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and FIR No. 425/2023, registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar West, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 323/452/506/34 of the IPC, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed.
