GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING 4 The Court made the following order: The petitioner is seeking release of the financial assistance of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th installments of Rs.37,31,415/-, and the travel charges and Visa fee, all totaling to Rs.38,11,131/-, under the “Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena” Scheme. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the 1st installment was released by the respondents, but the respondents have not released the balance installments. 2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has placed on record the instructions received by him and submitted before this Court. As seen from the instructions, the respondents have not rejected or cancelled the petitioners’ benefit under the Scheme. An amount of Rs.13,15,300/- has already been released, and the balance amount is pending for release, subject to the availability of necessary funds. 3. Considering the instructions submitted by the Secretary and Commissioner of the Minorities Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify and release the amounts sanctioned to the petitioner under the said scheme within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
