The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 21 kg of ganja. Hence, this case. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been incarcerated since 12.10.2025 and has been falsely implicated in the present case and that he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the Petitioner. 4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the Respondent Police reiterated the prosecution case and strongly opposed the bail application on the ground that the petitioner has seven previous cases, which includes a murder case and a case under Arms Act. Hence, he opposed the grant of bail to the Petitioner. 5. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions and perused the materials available on record. 6. From the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and considering the nature of allegation against this petitioner and his past criminal antecedents and also considering the fact that the quantity comes under https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 1839 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 commercial quantity, this Court could not find any material to overcome the rigour of section 37(1)(b)(ii) of NDPS Act.
