The grievance of the petitioner is directed against inaction of the WBSEDCL in providing a separate electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner. 2. On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that this is a fit case for grant of electricity connection and a hook meter should be granted from an existing service connection subject to compliance with all necessary statutory formalities. 3. In view of the above WPA 8272 of 2026 stands allowed. 4. WBSEDCL is directed to provide an electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner from the existing service connection after compliance with all necessary formalities including payment of stipulated fees. 2 5. The WBSEDCL is directed to consider the previous application for electricity connection which has already been filed by the petitioner.
