The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this writ petition to substantiate her case that the patta has been issued illegally in favour of the respondents 6 to 12. The petitioner had given representations on 21.11.2024 and 06.02.2026 to the official respondents seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 6 to 12. Mr. D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 6 to 12, notice to the respondents 6 to 12 is dispensed with. 4. The competent authority to adjudicate the petitioner’s representation is the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Chengalpattu District. But, instead the petitioner has inadvertently arrayed the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Kancheepuram District as the party fourth respondent in this writ petition. This Court by exercising its suo motu power, impleads the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Chengalpattu District as a party 13th respondent in this writ petition. Registry is directed to carryout the amendment accordingly. Mr. D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the newly impleaded 13th respondent as well. 5.No prejudice would be caused to the 13th respondent if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the respondents 6 to 12 and any other third party whom the newly impleaded 13th respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 13745 of 2026 6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 7. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the newly impleaded 13th respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representations dated 21.11.2024 and 06.02.2026 seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 6 to 12 for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 6 to 12 and also any other third party whom the 13th respondent deems it fit to enquire within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
