Romesh Verma, Judge (Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court for the following main reliefs: (i) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and allow the transfer of the petitioner from the tribal area (District Kinnaur) to one of the station of his choice a soft area as mentioned in representation dated 05.01.2026 (Annexure P-4) as well as in para 6 of the writ petition against vacant post of longer stay, in accordance with the Comprehensive Transfer Policy, 2013, within a time-bound manner; (ii) Direct the respondents to decide the representation dated 05.01.2026 (Annexure P-4) by passing a reasoned and speaking order; 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2. During the course of the arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she shall be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 05.01.2026 addressed by her client to the Special Secretary (Finance)-cum-Director, Treasuries, Accounts and Lotteries, Kasumpti, Shimla-171009, H.P. 3. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/authority to decide the representation dated 05.01.2026(Annexure P-4) and take a decision thereupon in accordance with law. 4. The respondents are directed to take the decision on the representation (Annexure P-4) dated 05.01.2026 filed by the petitioner, positively within a period of two weeks from today, and the said order shall be communicated to the petitioner. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case, and the authority shall take a decision strictly in consonance with the provisions of law. 6.
