Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner along with others are detained on the accusation of possessing Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICNs). Charge sheet has already been submitted. As such, the petitioner may be released on bail. 2. Learned advocate for the State submits that huge quantity of FICNs were recovered. It has been submitted that steps have been taken for progress of the trial. 3. Having considered the stage of the case and the quantum of recovery, at this stage I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. The petitioner will renew his bail prayer if the trial do not progress. 4. As such, CRM (M) 616 of 2026 is dismissed at this stage. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
