Petitioners have approached this Court seeking the following reliefs: “I. Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2, 3 and 4 forthwith to restore peaceful and physical possession of the property to the petitioners from illegal seizure at the hands of the police personnels without there has been any authority under the law. II. Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2, 3 and 4 to give the physical possession of the property to the petitioners by removing the illegal seizure.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, during the pendency of the present writ petition, the keys of the gate, which had been locked and were in the custody of the police authorities, have been handed over to the petitioners. In view of the aforesaid development, the grievance raised by the petitioners in the present writ petition does not survive for consideration at this stage. However, it is expected that respondent nos. 3 and 4 shall ensure that the petitioners are not subjected to any unnecessary harassment or victimization. 6. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
