The petitioner is a member of the Doddigunta Fishermen Cooperative Society Limited. The election of the said Society was supposed to be conducted on 05.03.2026. The petitioner, under apprehension of unfair election process, approached this Court by filing W.P.No. 6023 of 2026. This Court, upon considering the prayer of the petitioner, has passed an order dated 02.03.2026, directing the authority concerned to take appropriate steps so that free, fair and transparent election can be conducted. However, the facts suggest that the election could not be conducted on 05.03.2026, it is supposed to be conducted on 29.04.2026. The petitioner is under apprehension that as this Court while disposing of W.P. No.6023 of 2026 directed the concerned authority to conduct election on 05.03.2026 in free, fair and transparent manner, the same may not be followed if it held on 29.04.2026. 2. I make it clear that the direction upon the respondent authority is very general to conduct the election in a free, fair, and transparent manner. 3. Learned counsel for the parties frankly submit that the same directions may be passed in respect of election dated 29.04.2026. -4- W.P. No.11890 OF 2026 4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of following direction of this Court passed in W.P.No.6023 of 2026 only reading the date of 05.03.2026 to be 29.04.2026. I further make it clear that the authority concerned shall conduct the election to be held on 29.04.2026 in a free, fair, and transparent manner. 5.
