The petitioner is an accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 179/2025. The petitioner and another accused are alleged to have made a murderous assault upon the son of the informant but by sheer providence, such assault did not turn fatal. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the he is in custody since 11.06.2025, but regard being had to the fact that it was the petitioner who was instrumental in causing seven stab injuries upon the person of the son of the informant which has been corroborated by the injury report, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
