Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in the instant case on alleged recovery of 154 Gms. of Yaba Tablets. Petitioner is in custody for 4 months and 7 days and charge sheet has been submitted. As such, learned advocate prays for bail on any stringent condition.
Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that State would put in efforts for taking the trial to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.
Having regard to the quantum of seizure of the contraband, I am of the view that the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted.

As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 632 of 2026 is rejected.
All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
