Umar Abdullah, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. G. Raju, learned Government Pleader representing respondent Nos.1 to 4. 2. This appeal has been preferred against the orders of learned Single Judge dated 17.02.2026 in W.P.No.4556 of 2026, whereby, writ petition filed by the appellant was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Lay Secretary and Treasurer Grade-II and Accounts Officer or any other post of higher cadre without reference to Charge Memo dated 12.10.2010. Further direction to conclude the proceedings in terms of G.O.Ms.No.91, General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated 12.09.2022, also issued. 3. Learned counsel for the appellant seeks to make submissions with reference to grounds of appeal. However, at that stage, it is submitted by learned Government Pleader that pursuant to the orders of learned Single Judge, the case of the appellant was considered and proceedings dated 28.04.2026 posting the appellant as Lay Secretary & Treasurer Grade-II at Dr. A. Ramalingaiah Government Homeo Medical College, in the existing vacancy were issued. In so far as the other direction of learned Single Judge is 4 concerned, on instructions, he submits that enquiry against the appellant is concluded and the enquiry report is submitted on 31.08.2026. 4. In view of the above stated position and more particularly the subsequent developments, this Court is not inclined to examine the merits or otherwise of the case. Accordingly, the writ appeal is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioner to workout his remedies including with reference to proceedings dated 28.04.2026 as also the enquiry proceedings which are stated to have been concluded, in accordance with Law, if he is so advised. 5. There shall be no order as to costs.
