The petitioner is an accused in connection with Kanke PS Case No. 244/2025. An extortion call was received by Manish Kumar demanding an amount of Rupees Five Crores. It came to light about the involvement of the petitioner and others in purchase of SIMs and handing over the same to Prince Khan. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that another case has been instituted against the petitioner after registration of the present case. Learned counsel submits that on completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted and the petitioner is in custody since 20.09.2025. One of the co-accused Rozi Parween has been granted bail in B.A. No. 10311 of 2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M.F.C.-XXIV at Ranchi in connection with Kanke PS Case No. 244/2025.
