CMP No. 10752 of 2026 This application has been filed by Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB), seeking permission to use the playground of Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Degree College, Saraswati Nagar, Shimla, District Shimla, H.P. for landing of the Helicopter of the Patron-in-Chief of the Radha Soami Satsang on 13.05.2026 during his visit to Rohru and the surrounding areas. 2. As per the Certificate (Annexure A-2), the Principal of the said College has no objection to the landing of the said helicopter at the playground of the College on 13.05.2026 at 3.00 p.m. during the visit of the Patron-in-Chief of Radha Soami Santsang Beas, Rohru, as the last examination was on 12.05.2026 and w.e.f.13.05.2026, there is no academic/teaching activities going on in the College. 3. It is averred in the application that it is a spiritual visit and during this visit, about 7000 people of Rohru and its surrounding areas are expected to visit the RSSB Centre Rohru, District Shimla. H.P. and no loss would be caused to the property of the College and there is no other alternative place available for the landing purpose. 4. Notice. Mr. Arsh Rattan, learned Deputy Advocate General, accepts notice for the respondents. 5. In the given facts and circumstances of the case, the application is allowed. Resultantly, the applicant is permitted to use the playground of Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Degree College Saraswati Nagar, Shimla, District Shimla, H.P. for landing of the Helicopter on 13.05.2026 of the Patron- in-Chief of the Radha Swami Satsang, subject to the payment of Rs.1,00,000/- as usage fee/costs, keeping in view the fact that the said Patron-in-Chief is visiting various places including Jammu and Kashmir by helicopter. The costs be deposited with the Principal of the said College during the course of the day, which will be used for the welfare of the said Educational Institution.
