Learned counsel appearing for the parties fairly submit that the controversy raised in this petition is squarely covered by our order and judgment dated 08.09.2025 passed in WP (C) No. 2411/2025 titled “UT of J&K and others Vs Rita Sehgal and others,” and, therefore, pray for disposal of this petition in terms of the aforesaid judgment. 2. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and perused the material on record, we are of the considered opinion that the controversy raised in this petition is fully covered by the judgment passed in WP (C) No. 2411/2025 (supra). 3. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of in the following manner: “the judgment impugned passed by the Tribunal is set aside. We, however, clarify that the reconsideration order passed by the WP(C) No. 542/2026__ ________ petitioners i.e. Government order No. 118-FD of 2025 dated 08.04.2025, which has been passed in compliance with the judgment we have set aside, has been rendered otiose and deserves to be ignored.” 4. The matter is remanded back to the Tribunal to reconsider the matter and decide the same after addressing the merits of controversy, keeping in view the observations made in the judgment dated 08.09.2025 (supra). 5. We are told that OA No. 115/2024 titled “Rita Sehgal and others V/s UT of J&K and another,” from which the judgment dated 08.09.2025 passed in WP(C) No. 2411/2025 had arisen has been heard and reserved, it would be appropriate to request the Tribunal to expedite the hearing of OA No. 1303/2024 as well. 6.
