Case No. 156 of 2025 corresponding to POCSO Case No.105 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 137(2)/96 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih, is pressed into motion. As per the FIR, the minor daughter of the informant aged about 14 years left her home on 17.06.2025 at around 04:30 in the evening and had gone missing. The complicity of the petitioner- Vikash Kumar Turi @ Bikash Kumar Turi @ Gautam Mirdha @ Vikash Turi was suspected as he frequently made mobile call to the victim girl. It also transpired that he was also in constant touch with the victim girl on Instagram. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the petitioner is adolescent aged about 20 years and there is no allegation of sexual assault against him. The girl, who left her home, returned home and her statement was also recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. It is submitted that the victim girl in her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS, has stated this petitioner has forcibly taken her. Having considered the submissions advanced and the materials on record, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
