Petitioner retired from the post of Work Agent from Public Works Department on 31.12.2020. All his retiral dues were released in his favour including pension. In this writ petition, petitioner has challenged order dated 16.09.2021, passed by Chief Treasury Officer, Champawat, which provides for recovery of Rs. 5,64,526/- from the petitioner. 3. Petitioner contends that he has not practiced fraud upon the authority and whatever amount was released to him after retirement, was as per the calculation made by departmental authorities. Thus it is contended that in view of the law declared by Hon’ble Supreme Court, after retirement, recovery is not permissible from the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made representation to the competent authority on 26.04.2026, who may be directed to take decision. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, UKHC010142932026 2026:UHC:7633 disposed of with direction to respondent No. 3 to take decision on the representation dated 26.04.2026 made by petitioner, as per law, within four months from date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 6.
