Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner is a Professor in the Higher Secondary Education Department of the State. He had been transferred from Government PG College Ram Nagar, District Nainital to Government PG College Rudrapur by order dated 09.06.2026. 3. He made a representation against his transfer on 27.06.2026 stating the difficulties, which he would face in case he joins the transferred place. As the representation has not been decided so far, therefore, the present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to decide his representation dated 1 UKHC010136652026 2026:UHC:6948-DB 27.06.2026 and also for quashing the transfer order dated 09.06.2026. 4. Shri S.S. Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner has pressed only the first relief and prays that direction be issued to respondent no.1 to decide his representation dated 27.06.2026, to which learned State Counsel has no objection. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.1 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2026 by a speaking order within three weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the representation. 6.
