The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Puri Town P.S. Case No.146 of 2012 corresponding to G.R. Case No.2053 of 2012 registered for the alleged commission of the offences punishable under Sections 143/ 147/ 341/ 294/ 355/ 323/ 325/ 338/ 379/506/149 of the IPC, pending in the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Puri. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instruction from the petitioner, submits that except the present bail application, no other bail application of the petitioner is pending in any other Court relating to the aforesaid F.I.R. p. 2 4. In the present case, the F.I.R. was registered on 10.10.2012. Nothing is disclosed in the petition regarding the status of the investigation. 5. Learned counsel for the State submits that since the petitioner is not cooperating with the investigation, he may not be granted anticipatory bail. 6. Be that as it may, since the F.I.R. has been registered in the year 2012 and the petitioner has approached this Court for grant of anticipatory bail at this belated stage, I am not inclined to entertain the present bail application at this stage. However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court on or before 15.05.2026 and move for regular bail application. If such bail application is filed by the petitioner before the trial Court, the same shall be considered on merit in accordance with law on the same day. 7.
