GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING 3 The Court made the following Order:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Higher Education and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for the respondents. 2. The instant Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents for reimbursement of the Tuition Fee due to the Petitioner-College under the scheme „Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (RTF)‟ for the academic years 2017- 18 to 2020-21. 3. It is contended that the petitioner is an unaided college. Government of Andhra Pradesh to support the students belonging to Scheduled Tribes, and Scheduled Castes, Backward classes and students belong to the EBC categories, pursuing Diploma courses and Bachelors Degree etc., issued G.O.Ms.No.81, Social Welfare Department, dated 07.05.2019 and G.O.Ms.No.115, Social Welfare Department, dated 30.11.2019 and consequential Government Orders with the aid of the Central Government. As per the said G.Os., students were allotted to the unaided colleges through the Social Welfare Department, assuring that the State Government would reimburse the tuition fee payable by the respective students allotted. Further assurance was also given for reimbursement of the maintenance fee, expenses incurred for food and hostel for each student. In the said regard, the petitioner is entitled to claim the reimbursement of the Tuition Fee of 4 Rs.47,31,750/- (Rupees Fourty Seven Lakhs Thirty One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty only). 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the similar writ petition in W.P.No.4797 of 2026 on the same issue has been disposed of by this Court on 05.03.2026. Thus prays for passing of the same order. 5. Considered the submissions. The Writ Petition in W.P.No.4797 of 2026 on which reliance has been placed, was disposed of observing that: “6. Considering the submissions on both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions:- i) The respondents concerned are directed to examine the claim of the Petitioner-College as per the Janmabhumi portal within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ii) On verification, the amount due to the petitioner shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of three (03) months thereafter. iii) There shall be no order as to costs.” 6. Following the above order, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify the claim of the petitioner within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of the order. Upon such verification, the amounts that are found to be due to the petitioner shall be paid within a period three (03) months thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs. 5 7. Registry is directed to append a copy of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.4797 of 2026 dated 05.03.2026 to this order.
