Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per Government policy, caste certificate has to be issued within fifteen days from the date of making application therefor. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner has remedy of filing appeal before the concerned Sub Divisional Magistrate, therefore, petitioner can approach the competent authority. 6. Since petitioner is aggrieved by delay caused by the competent authority in issuing caste certificate, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the competent authority to take decision on petitioner’s application, as per law, within fifteen days from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
