The petitioner seeks removal of an electricity meter board lying outside his premises. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there are bare electricity lines which have been drawn from the said meter board and there is a serious risk to public health and safety. Pursuant to an order, the CESC Limited have filed two separate Reports. In the said Reports, there are different options provided to the petitioner for shifting of the meter board as well as for an alternative position for the meter board. In view of the Report and the different options now available to the petitioner, nothing
2 survives in the writ petition. WPA 25236 of 2025 along with the connected application being CAN 1 of 2025 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to avail of the necessary options as provided in the Report filed by CESC Limited after compliance with all formalities. It is made clear that nothing in this order with affect the pending suits by and between the petitioner and the private respondents.
