This application has been filed under Section 483 BNSS, seeking bail of the petitioner, namely, Ajmal Hoque, who was arrested on 12.06.2026 in connection with Boko P.S. Case No. 145/2026 registered under Sections 78(2)/75(2)/351(3) of the BNS, 2023, with added Section 6491) of BNS, 2023. 3. Case diary as called for has not yet been received. 4. As per the allegations made in the FIR, the petitioner had made suggestions to the informant lady, who is a married woman to get involved in physical relationship, which was rejected by the informant where-after, the accused tortured her in various ways and also threatened to kill her and her family members. 5. It appears that the wife of the present petitioner had also lodged an FIR against the husband of the informant making similar allegations and the said husband, namely, one Alimuddin was granted bail by this Court by order dated 26.06.2026, passed in BA No. 1778/2026. 6. The petitioner has in the meantime spent 32 days in custody. 7. Having regard to the period of detention as well as the nature of the allegation, further detention of the petitioner is not considered necessary. 8. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is allowed to go on bail of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) only with 2 (two) sureties of like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Boko, Kamrup with following conditions: i) That the petitioner shall not hamper with the investigation, or tamper with the evidence of the case. ii) That the petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer. Page No.# 3/3 iii) That the petitioner shall not commit any offence while on bail. 9. Violation of bail conditions might entail cancellation of the bail. 10.
