JUSTICE GANESH RAM MEENA Order 04/07/2026 1. The petitioner No.1- Mr. Kuldeep Meena, present in person before this Court submits that initially vide advertisement dated 17.07.2025 the respondent- RPSC, Ajmer advertised as many as 1385 vacancies for Senior Teacher (Grade-II) for Maths. Later on, vide advertisement/corrigendum dated 25.06.2026 the respondent RPSC has enhanced the vacancies for Senior Teacher Maths from 1385 to 2181. 2. The petitioner No.1 further submits that as per the provisions of Rajasthan Educational (State and Subordinate) Service Rules, 2021 (for short ‘the Rules of 2021’), the respondents cannot enhance the vacancies more than 50%. He also submits that the enhancement of the vacancies is beyond the [2026:RJ-JP:24945] (3 of 3) [CW-11168/2026] limit prescribed under the Rules of 2021 and it is an action of the respondents taking away the rights of those future candidates who would be eligible for recruitment and against the vacancies which have been included by the respondents in the present advertisement in which he is not eligible for want of requisite educational qualification. 3. The petitioner No.1 further submits that some of the petitioners are eligible with the other subjects for which the vacancies have been advertised and later on, the respondent RPSC enhanced the vacancies beyond the permissible limit of 50%. 4. Mr. Ram Niwas Mehta, Secretary RPSC present in person states before this Court that in whichever subject the vacancies have been enhanced more than 50% by the corrigendum, the RPSC will withdraw the vacancies which have been enhanced beyond the limit of 50%. 5. In view of the statement made by the Secretary RPSC, the grievance raised in its writ petition stands redressed and thus the present writ petition is disposed of. 6. The RPSC, Ajmer, shall issue necessary corrigendum for withdrawing the excess vacancies included beyond the permissible limit of 50%. 7.
