By way of the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR bearing No. 505/2025, registered at Police Station Alipur, Outer North, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 115(2)/126(2)/79/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (hereafter ‘BNS') and all consequent proceedings emanating therefrom. 4. Brief facts of the case are that on 15.09.2025, after completing their shopping, respondent nos. 2 and 3 were returning home in their car bearing registration No. DL-5CN-9066 via the main market road near Subhash Chowk at approximately 08:30 PM. At that time, petitioners had approached from the right side of the road on a scooty. The scooty allegedly nearly touched/grazed the complainant’s car, following which the petitioners allegedly began abusing the complainant. When the complainant attempted to leave the spot without escalating the situation, both petitioners allegedly caught hold of him, assaulted him, and also abused respondent no. 3. Subsequently, upon a complaint filed by respondent nos. 2 and 3, the present FIR was registered against the petitioners. It is stated that the parties have now amicably settled their dispute vide Settlement Agreement dated 04.04.2026. 7. On a query made by this Court, respondent nos. 2 and 3 who have been identified by the IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. They further state that they have no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 8. Considering that the parties belong to the same village and were known to each other and that the petitioners have no other criminal antecedents, and an unconditional apology has been tendered by the petitioners which has been accepted by respondent nos. 2 and 3. 9. In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful This is a digitally signed order. Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 505/2025, registered at Police Station Alipur, Outer North, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 115(2)/126(2)/79/3(5) of BNS and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 11.
