17.04.2026 Court No.35. M/L. 128. Kausik CRM (SB) 27 of 2025 In Re: An Application for bail under Section 483(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Baruipur Police Station Case No. 2055 of 2024 dated 22.12.2024 under section 126(2)/329(3)/303(2)/351(2)/79/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. And In the matter of : Rumpa De Bhowmick ……Petitioner. Mr. Pawan Kr. Gupta Ms. Sofia Nesar Mr. S. Seth …..for the Petitioner. Mrs. Zareen Nasima Khan Mrs. Shaila Afrin …..for the State. Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court to the order dated 22.01.2025 wherein the learned Court granted ad-interim bail on 22.01.2025 after the accused persons surrendered before the Court. Thereafter the learned ACJM, Baruipur was pleased to call for the case diary on the subsequent date. Having considered that the bail was not granted by way of a final measure and was awaiting confirmation subsequent to the case diary to be submitted by the police authorities, I am of the opinion no interference is called for at this stage. 2 However, if the interim bail is still continuing, learned ACJM, Baruipur is directed to issue notice upon the accused persons and fix a date, peruse the case diary, if the complainant appears suo motu give audience to the complainant and thereafter decide the issue of bail permanently by 15th June, 2026. With the aforesaid observations CRM (SB) 27 of 2025 is disposed of. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
