01. The principal relief which the petitioners have claimed in the writ petition is not admissible to them in view of the
judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case of
“Grah Rakshak, Home Guards Wel. Asso. Vs State of H.P. & Ors.” [2015 (6) SCC 247] whereas the other reliefs which the petitioners have claimed are admissible for consideration by this Court in the present writ petition, provided the petitioners come forward with an exclusive claim for the said reliefs and, therefore,
learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty to withdraw the writ petition for coming forward with a fresh writ petition. Serial No. 05 Regular List

02. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to come forward with a fresh writ petition for seeking reliefs as may be admissible to them in the light of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s
judgment in their purported status as Home Guards in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
03. The present petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn along with connected application.
