2. The applicant is the writ petitioner in the connected writ petition, W.P.[C]

3. The instant application is preferred seeking substitution of the petitioner no. 1, as the petitioner no. 1, Jadav Roy had expired, during the pendency of the writ petition, on 28.06.2024. As the right to sue survives, the applicant has sought substitution of the petitioner no. 1 by his legal representative, Smti Ajuli Roy, who is the wife of the petitioner no. 1, Jadav Roy [since deceased].
4. The learned counsel for the opposite parties has submitted that they have no objection if the instant application for substitution is allowed.
5. Having regard to the fact that right to sue survives for the petitioner no. 1 [since deceased], the substitution of the petitioner no. 1 by the legal representative, Smti. Ajuli Roy, who is the wife of the petitioner no. 1, Jadav Roy [since deceased], is allowed.
