Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration Urban Development and Sri Naga Praveen Vankayalapati, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents/Corporation. 2. Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in withholding the sum of Rs.23,08,377/- due to the petitioner for the works executed by the petitioner, the instant writ petition has been filed seeking payment of the same with interest @ 24% p.a.
3. When the matter has been taken up for consideration today, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents/Corporation has placed before the

Court a copy of instructions received by him in the case.
From the same, it reflects that the respondents have admitted that a total amount of Rs.23,08,377/- is due and payable to the petitioner. However, it is stated that the bills could not be uploaded in CFMS due to paucity of Municipal General Funds and that the same will be uploaded in seriatim upon accumulation of sufficient funds. 4. Having regard to the above, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the respondents to release the amounts that are due to the petitioner within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of the order. 5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
