3. Petitioner moved an application under The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, which was allowed by Maintenance Tribunal on
28.10.2025. The
order passed by Maintenance Tribunal was affirmed by Appellate Tribunal vide order dated 15.04.2026.
4. Petitioner contends that the order passed by Maintenance Tribunal is not being enforced, thus, feeling aggrieved petitioner has approached this Court.
5. Learned State Counsel submits that as per the pleadings made in the writ petition, petitioner has moved an application for execution before District Magistrate. He further submits that the application for execution should have been filed under Section 11 of The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 before the

6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to move application before the appropriate forum. If he moves application for execution before Maintenance Tribunal within one week, Maintenance Tribunal shall make endeavour to decide the said application within six weeks thereafter.
