Learned counsel appearing for the revisionists would submit that the present criminal revisions have become as the parties have amicably resolved their disputes and have entered into a lawful compromise, pursuant to which a compounding application has been filed before the competent court. She would further submit that the proceedings giving rise to the present revisions arise out of cross-cases lodged by the respective parties against each other, and in view of the settlement

2026:UHC:6814 arrived at between them, no surviving grievance remains for adjudication in these revisions.
4. In view of the
submissions advanced by learned counsel for the revisionists and the subsequent amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, nothing survives for
consideration in the present criminal revisions. Accordingly, the criminal revisions are dismissed as having become infructuous.
5. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
