Virender Singh, Judge (Oral) By way of present petition under Section 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought the indulgence of this Court to direct the Assistant Collector 1st Grade Theog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, H.P. to decide the partition proceedings initiated vide Case No. 20/2011, titled as “Ratti Ram Versus Prem Singh & Others”. 2. As per the stand taken in the application, the partition application was moved by petitioner Ratti Ram before the Assistant Collector 1st Grade Theog, way back on 1 Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes. 2 2026:HHC:17392 10.11.2010. Even after 15 years, according to the petitioner, the said proceedings have not been culminated. 3. Perusal of the record shows that the mode of partition was accepted by Assistant Collector 1st Grade on 10.04.2015 and thereafter, no further proceedings have been conducted, till date. 4. In such situation, present petition is allowed, by directing the Assistant Collector 1st Grade Theog, to decide the above titled case, as per law, within six months from today, positively. 5. The copy of this order be sent to Assistant Collector 1st Grade Theog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, H.P., for compliance. 6.
