According to petitioners, they worked as Pharmacist & Driver in a private ambulance due to pandemic cause by COVID-19 on the orders of District Magistrate under the Policy of the Central Government, but the remuneration due to them have not been paid to them. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs:- (a) a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to pay the salary allowances as well as other benefits and emoluments provided by the Government of India to the peoples working under the COVID 19 pandemic health professionals as per ongoing government schemes to the petitioners on the basis of the facts and circumstances of the case state above. 5. Having regard to the relief sought, UKHC010067382020 2026:UHC:6751 this Court thinks that ends of justice would be met if the petitioners are permitted to approach the District Magistrate. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have already made representation to the District Magistrate. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate, Bageshwar to take decision on the representation (annexure no. 4 to the writ petition), as per law, within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
