ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC in Crime No.453 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant has pledged jewels with the bank and has obtained a loan and at that time the accused peerson was introduced to the de-facto complainant stating that he will redeem her jewels by paying the money for which the de-facto complainant has to pay principal amount along with 1% interest. Believing the words of the petitioner that the jewels will be redeemed by the accused by paying the money, the de-facto complainant arranged money and requested the accused to return the same after accepting the entire amount. The accused person had evaded from returning the jewels of the de-facto complainant by stating one reason or other. Subsequently the accused had also threatened the de-facto complainant with dire consequences. Hence, a case has been registered. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that there are two previous cases registered against the petitioner, which are similar in nature.
